BoreLine Pay is a non-custodial Bitcoin payment processor. Every payment settles straight to a wallet only you control, on chain, and BoreLine never holds, routes, or is able to move your funds. No account balance to freeze, no seed phrase to share, no middleman between you and your money.
Most Bitcoin payment services take custody first, then pay you out. That is the part BoreLine removes.
A custodial processor collects your customers' Bitcoin into an account it owns, holds the balance, and later settles to you, minus fees, and subject to its rules, limits, and jurisdiction. While it holds that balance it can freeze it, reverse it, require identity verification before release, or lose it in a breach.
Non-custodial means the processor never possesses the money at any point. BoreLine generates a unique receiving address for each invoice from your own wallet, watches the public blockchain for the payment, and notifies your site when it confirms. The Bitcoin goes from your customer straight to your wallet. BoreLine only ever reads the chain; it never has a key that could spend.
You register a ZPUB, the extended public key of your hardware wallet's native SegWit account. A ZPUB is watch-only: it can derive addresses to receive, but it can never spend. From that single public key BoreLine derives a fresh bc1q address for every invoice (BIP84 derivation), so payments land at addresses your wallet already controls.
Your seed phrase never leaves your hardware device and is never seen by BoreLine. Because the derivation is public and deterministic, you can verify it yourself: compare the addresses BoreLine shows against the ones your own wallet generates. If they match, you have proven, without trusting us, that funds can only land where you control them. The full logic is open source.
